Will i still experience acne purging with retin-a if i stopped using it for a year and want to use it again?
By
Retin-A has done wonders for my acne a couple of years ago, but that was after a horrible 2-3 months of purging. I stopped using it a year ago because it made my skin super sensitive, but lately iv been thinking of going back. Will my skin purge again or is it still ‘used to’ the retin-a?
Thank you so much!

It will purge, whenever you stop taking it for awhile, your Skin isn’t used to it, and it does hurt, but if you can just stick with it, and don’t stop using it, it will not only help ance, but it has been found to help prevent wrinkles!

It very well could, you can use it every other day and remember a very small amt (pea size) if you start to develop a sensitivity to it. I use MD Skincare Hydra Pure Mist spray because the cause of acne for me is tap water (the minerals in it more specifically) they leave behind mineral residue that turns to a oily film clogging your pores. I had acne so severe from the time I was 19 till 35, this spray I read about in a magazine called New Beauty and bought it, and for the first time I had flawless skin and still do (2 yrs). If I quit using the spray, the acne returns fast. So for me everything that I have been told as to what causes it is BS. I am going to start using a mild form of Retin-A just to enhance my skin, remember treat your neck and face as if it is one whole area. I have seen women with Beautiful faces, but it is the neck that gives away your age it you don’t take care of it!
