The New Tilley Airflo provides sun protection in a lighterweight construction. Tilley Airflo designs incorporate mesh into the crown allowing coolness and comfort during hot days or strenuous activities. Engineered from Tilley Nylamtium, a strong water- and mildew-resistant form of nylon. It has a medium-sized brim that snaps up Aussie style. Measurements: Front and back of the brim: 2-3/4″; Sides: 2-3/8″. Weighs 4 oz. Stays on in the wind using the wind cord, even while skydiving! – Won’t shrink – Floats: closed-cell foam in the crown – Secret pocket in the crown: carry ID, cash or credit card – Repels rain and mildew resistant – British brass grommets and snaps – Includes a 4-page Owners Manual. Hat Sizing: Tilley Hats fit more comfortably than other hats. To find your size, simply use a tape measure to measure around your head in inches, just above your eyebrows (do not pull tight). Order options are given in inches and hat size. If you already know your regular hat size, please order one size larger when you order your Tilley. Tilley’s Guarantee: If you ever succeed in wearing out your Tilley Hat, send us the remains and we will replace it free. If you want to keep your faithful, old, worn-out friend, tell us and we’ll return it to you. We understand. Upon purchase, your Hat is covered by a two year, all-peril, 50% deductible, Hat Insurance Policy to take the pain out of loss or irreparable damage. Fabric Story: The lighterweight Tilley (LT) Hats are handcrafted of a strong, laminated, waterproof nylon, Tilley Nylamtium. Washing Instructions: Machine wash in warm or cool water. Do not use bleach. Smooth and reshape the Hat by hand and set it out to air dry. Available in Natural with Green Underbrim (Available only thru special order), and Khaki with Olive Underbrim.
