Sweet mask, I wanted that one for some time now, but they stopped selling those ones. I have an M9 gas mask one from a surplus.

If you bought this mask to stay on the safe side, maybe you should get the Atropine as well. It’s effective against many nerve gases, like Soman, VX, Tabun… Though I don’t think its halflife is that long.

You talked about the price increasing after you bought the gas mask. That happened to me too; however I bought the civilian one on Amazon for about 24 dollars and it jumped to about 34 dollars after I bought it. Odd. Maybe they have a limited number of gasmasks?

… Thats a cool gas mask. But i doubt that it will protect your body (it will protect your lungs, but not your body) from biological weapons, Unless you have a complete protection suit.
For biological weapons, most chemical agents are absorbed through the skin.

so the millitary still uses the same nato filter to this day. thats a good feature seeing how if you needed this you could pull un used filters off dead soldiers. worst case senario but still something to think about whenever getting weapons masks and bug out stuff.

Bought the civilian version at a surplus store for Halloween, but didn’t get instructions with it. Now I am ready for Halloween, and a riot/pandemic/Armageddon.
