is it normal to have a white discharge 1-2 weeks before my period?

I had intercourse a little over a week ago and i took my pill late (about an hour late) on that same day. I was on travel and my cellphone alarm clock had reset since the timezone was different. I have been on birth control for several months, now I am worried/stressed out that perhaps taking my pill late may have caused for me to become pregnant. any advice or personal experiences in regards to this? I still have a full set of active pills before my placebo pills kick in and i am expecting my period in about a week or so.
