How to glue vinyl tablecloth sheets?

How to glue vinyl tablecloth sheets?
I want to attach two sheets together by
overlapping them about 1 inch,
so the glue should stick front side of one
sheet to the back of another.
I guess the front side is made of vinyl.
Unfortunately, I cannot figure out what
the backside is made of –
it looks like some kind of plastic, may be
vinyl too, just painted differently.

Glue should be flexible and water resistant.
