How do I get rid of snow salt on boots?

Hey, I have these black boots but they aren’t snow boots, they are just regular boots made from fabric and I wore them in the winter time, and snow salt stained my boots, is there anyway I could clean them?

Wipe them down with a damp cloth. (Plain water.)
If that doesn’t work, try wiping them down with White Vinegar, but test an area first to make sure the boots can tolerate the vinegar.
