How come on Survivor Samoa, their has been no sign or talk of the tsunami?

Are they really in Samoa? They cant be!! Just look at the link. I understand that episodes are filmed in advance but not this far in advance..

Because the tsunami happened after they left the island. There were only a few crew members left and none of them were hurt.

Yes they are in Samoa. They actually filmed 2 seasons back to back there. Season 19, which is airing now, and Season 20 which will air next year. The contestants had already finished filming Season 20 and had left the island. Right after the Tsunami, CBS made mention of it and told viewers where they could go to make a donation.
