The trick to that one is to build turrets pulsars and ions and try to maintain a full unit of cap ships and stay in a pocket around the mother ship and the rest of the producers. Take the enemy cap ships first and try prayer.

What they did to Homeworld 2 was inexcusable. In order to reach a deadline they essentially raped the saga and turned the campaign into an incoherent pile of rubbish. This is why hard-core gamers should be the people making decisions not some suits that only care about dollars and cents. The game would have made just as much if not more money if they had given it time to be a game worthy of its predecessor’s name. Graphics were great, everything else suffered. Same as KOTOR 2. Shameful.

I have to agree. The Keeper always seemed like a terrible beast that was beyond you. You couldn’t kill it, only try to defend yourself and survive. It was a testament to the power of the Progenitors and a fearsome foe that would always wreck my fleet pretty badly.
The Rescue/Assault on the space station nearing the end was even more difficult though; I never did beat that mission because you’re outnumbered about 5-to-1.

sins of a solar empire, star wars empire at war, and many others.
i have played nearly all of them mostly the demos of em,
i chose what one to buy,
i had to pick homeworld 2.

i do too. i get on at 5 oclock in the morning to play online cos at other times noone is on. the max of people online that i have ever seen is 18. my user name is Tiger 3.

tht wuld be so awsome!!!! but i doubt ppl would be able to handle it with todays graphics and detail etc, just look at empire total war, i got a good pc and it struggles with tht on large scales

for all of you who actually have Homewrld2, we should start playing the online part on game spy, just choose multiplayer, and choose game spy! Cause I feel like I’m the only one who plays it still! Come on all you HW2 fans, lets get this game in business again! If relic gets the message that the HW series is popular again, they might actually start making Homeworld 3!
