expanding foam deteriorates and leaves a big mess when dry it looks good for about 6 months then it goes to shit..dynamat has very adhesive kind, I had 2 15hx2 fostgates that slammed but Iused some dmat it worked great, blew the subs and amp

yup some of that will work , but i think expanding foam might me more cost efficient and effective for rattles because it stiffens and stops the rattles. Dynamat will work but i think its better for blocking outside sounds ,rather than on rattles which are moving objects.
